Kathryn Stockett speaks about The Help, her debut novel that is one of the top bestsellers of the past year, the story of three seemingly different women in Jackson, Mississippi, who join together to write a tell-all book about work as a black maid. The Help is the current “One Book Two Villages” selection by the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library, who are sponsoring Ms. Stockett’s appearance.
