Former Chicago Sun-Times picture editor Richard Cahan is in the store to sign and discuss Eye to Eye: Photographs by Vivian Maier. It's a book that offers its readers a chance to follow Maier as she travels the world, shooting eye-to-eye portraits in more than a dozen countries in Asia, Europe, and South America. The portraits add
a new dimension to Maier's work and to the mystery of how one
photographer could be so intimate--if just for a moment--with so many
people.
