Local writer Barbara Mahany, author of the bestseller  Slowing Time: Seeing the Sacred Outside, gives a presentation in support of the Silent Samaritan Fund, created to provide sessions with counselors to underserved women in the community who are dealing with crises such as divorce, illness, anxiety, or unemployment. Ms. Mahany will relate stories of women helping women.
