Evanston author Christine Sneed discusses Paris, He Said, her novel
set in contemporary Paris, and focusing on a woman in her early 30s who
accepts the invitation of an older man who offers her time and
financial support to live with him in Paris and work as an artist.
Ms. Sneed, who teaches writing in the
MFA programs at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois
at Champaign/Urbana, will be reading together with Chicago author Paulette Livers, author of the novel Cementville, set in a Kentucky town during the Vietnam War years.
