Meet Annie Barrows at ‘Literature for All of Us’ Luncheon

The Book Stall’s by-far bestselling novel of the past year (and still in the New York Times top 10) has been The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, a remarkable tale of the island of Guernsey during the German occupation. Now its fans have the opportunity to meet its delightful co-author, ANNIE BARROWS and to contribute to a very worthy cause in the process.

Ms. Barrows will be the featured speaker at the 9th annual “Honor Thy Mother” luncheon on Saturday, May 9, at the DoubleTree Hotel, 9599 Skokie Blvd., Skokie).

It benefits Literature for All of Us, a nationally recognized, award-winning literacy organization that brings the rewards of reading and writing to young people in the Chicago area. Over the years, this event has been a wonderful gathering that celebrates mothers, grandmothers, mothers-in-law, daughters, sisters, friends, teachers, mentors, and caretakers who have made a loving and important difference in our lives.

Please join us and Ms. Barrows for this special luncheon and book signing! For reservations ($100), please call Literature for All of Us at 847 869-7323, or come to the store to pick up an invitation.
