Gregory Freeman will be speaking about Troubled Water: Race, Mutiny, and Bravery on the USS Kitty Hawk, his history of the troubles on board the USS Kitty Hawk in 1972. Official Navy accounts call the incident a riot, Freeman makes a convincing case for it being "the first mutiny in U.S. Navy history."
