Ernie Schweit

Ernie Schweit, an Illinois journalist and photographer, will be at The Book Stall to sign Wisconsin Barns, a beautiful book capturing the structures in all seasons, from modest mid-1800s barns to round and octagonal ones to grand, arch-roofed edifices. 

Schweit, along with writer Nancy Schumm-Burgess, set out on a two-year quest to document the Wisconsin's iconic barns, which have come to represent a way of life defined by family, a connection to the land, ingenuity, and hard work.
