WOOF! A Benefit for "Tails of Hope"

A Benefit for "Tails of Hope"
DAVID ROSENFELT
Sunday, July 28
5:30-7:30 pm
Port Clinton Square, 600 Central Ave., Highland Park
Bestselling author David Rosenfelt will be the guest of honor at a benefit for the Highland Park animal rescue Tails of Hope. He'll be celebrating the release of two new books and talking about his life, his 29 (at the moment) dogs, his dog rescue, and his writing.

Dogtripping: 25 Rescues, 11 Volunteers, and 3 RVs on Our Canine Cross-Country Adventure is a moving and funny account of his move from California to Maine and the beginnings of a dog rescue foundation.

Unleashed is a mystery novel featuring a Rosenfelt favorite, attorney Andy Carpenter. Andy gets into serious trouble together with his accountant Sam after Sam's life is saved when he runs over an injured dog lying in the road.

In addition to Rosenfelt's book talks, the evening will feature food and adoptable dogs, as well as a silent auction that includes a bid to have a character in one of Rosenfelt's future books named after you.

All proceeds benefit Tails of Hope, a no-kill, nonprofit animal rescue located in Highland Park. Its mission is to help elderly, chronically ill and terminally ill people find new homes for their pets.

Tickets are $25. To register, click here.
