Women's Exchange, in coordination with The Book Stall at Chestnut Court, hosts An Afternoon Tea with author, Susan Branch Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 ~ 3 to 5 pm Westmoreland Country Club, Wilmette, cost $20 Register for Tea event here Author and artist Susan Branch announces the publication of her newest book, A FINE ROMANCE ~ Falling in Love with the English Countryside.  In it Susan recounts her lighthearted ramble of discovery through the historical homes and gardens of her art and literary heroes, along ancient footpaths, through wildflower meadows and fields of lambs, into tea rooms, pubs and antique stores.  A hand-painted love story about Susan's voyage on the Queen Mary 2 and two months in England, with anecdotes, recipes and travel tips.  This 260 page hard-cover book includes countless illustrations, hundreds of photographs and a red ribbon sewn-in book mark.  A FINE ROMANCE is a work of art... part love story, part travel guide, all charm and a dream come true.
