Garden writer Marta McDowell talks about her charming book, Beatrix Potter's Gardening Life: The Plants and Places That Inspired the Classic Children's Tales .
The book explores the origins of Beatrix Potter's love of gardening and
plants and shows how her passion came to be reflected in her work. It's
a passion shared by Ms. McDowell, who teaches landscape history and
horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden. You can read more about
her on her website here.
