We're so pleased to welcome back special friend of the store Julia Keller for the first stop on her tour for her new Bell Elkins mystery, Summer of the Dead. The Pulitzer Prize-winning Chicago writer made multitudes of new fans with the first two mysteries in the series, A Killing in the Hills and Bitter River, set in Appalachia. In her latest, county prosecutor Elkins and Sheriff Nick Fogelsong are stymied by a murderer who seems to come and go like smoke in the rugged natural landscape of Acker's Gap, West Virginia.
