Chicago's Sam Zell, Chairman of Equity Group Investments, and New York-based, British-born writer Vicky Ward speak on the topic "Tall Stories: Myth and Reality in Commercial Real Estate." Ms. Ward is the author of the new book The Liar's Ball: The Extraordinary Saga of How One Building Broke the World's Toughest Tycoons, painting an often
scandalous picture of the giants who owned the New York skyline until
their empires came crumbling down in the 2008 financial crisis. A former
contributing editor to Vanity Fair, Ms. Ward is also the author of the bestseller The Devil's Casino, about the fall of Lehman Brothers.
