Join us for a Cuban-themed evening with local art collector and philanthropist Madeleine Plonsker and her new book The Light in Cuban Eyes.
Published by the Lake Forest Press, it is a bilingual book of Cuban
photographers' images that she has collected over the years. It is the
first North American publication with support from the Cuban Ministry of
Culture and Fototeca de Cuba, which is the country's repository of
photography comparable to the Smithsonian's Photography Department in
Washington, D.C.
