The "Write" Stuff
We were delighted with the turnout last week for the free preview session of our upcoming Let's Write workshop for writers. Enrollment was brisk, and one of the 12-week classes has already filled up.
Let's Write will be led
by writing instructor and friend of the store Alice Moody, beginning in
September. The workshop will consist of separate 12-week sessions,
offered on three different days of the week:
- Wednesdays, September 16 - December 9, from 6-8 pm, and
- Thursdays September 17-December 10, from 10 am-noon
- Please note that the Tuesday morning class has reached capacity.

Alice taught high school English in Redding, Connecticut, and San Francisco and has always had a special passion for teaching writing. For the past three years, she has been a writing instructor for New Trier Extension.
A native of St. Louis,
Alice holds a BA in English from Johns Hopkins University and an MA from
the University of Chicago. She has also led book group discussions at
The Book Stall.
