Dr. Cuthbert Soup!

Dr. Cuthbert Soup, founder and president of the National Center for Unsolicited Advice, will be reading from and signing copies of his debut book for children, A Whole Nother Story.  This story is, as it’s author says, a tale “chock-full of suspense, danger, adventure, mystery, simple yet delicious recipes for squash, and of course, paper.” It’s also an unsolicited advice compendium, and the story of the three polite, relatively odor-free Cheeseman children, their hairless psychic dog, government agents, corporate villains, international super spies, a chimpanzee, and a sock puppet named Steve.
Here at The Book Stall we call it a rollicking good read, with enough jokes and plot-twists to keep you up with the flashlight under the covers long after your assigned bedtime.
To honor the appearance of the elusive Dr. Soup, we’ll be serving dessert, giving out bubble gum (as bubble gum figures stickily into the plot of A Whole Nother Story) and trying to have as good a time as possible under mysterious circumstances. This event is great for kids 7-12 and, of course, parents of all stripes. It’s free and open to the public, because Dr. Soup would want it that way.

Thursday Feb 18th @ 6:30pm
