Come meet Neal Samors and Steven Dahlman, award-winning chroniclers of historic Chicago neighborhoods and landmarks. Their richly illustrated new book, Chicago's River At Work and Play,
takes a special look at what has long been considered Chicago's second
shoreline. They examine the Chicago River's past, present, and future,
as well as the individuals intimately connected to its history and the
river-related issues that will influence the growth of the Chicago
metropolitan area.
