ScreenBreak 2015

The Book Stall is all set to help make next week's annual ScreenBreak the most fun ever for kids!  It's the 20th anniversary of this Winnetka Alliance for Early Childhood-sponsored event that encourages children and their families to turn off their TV sets and other screens for a week and take part in alternative activities.

Who can resist our line-up? There will be a celebration of the great super-powered heroes, the Avengers, for ages 8-11; a reading of the very best new picture books for ages 3 and up; a Dinosaur Party for ages 4-8; a sleepy story time for kids ages 3 and up, together with their beloved stuffed animals; and a special guest star author (see Barney Saltzberg below) on Saturday, March 7, to wrap it up.
